Abstract
Sociocriticism is a method of text analysis that simultaneously deals with the social and literary aspects of a work. The Attack, written by Algerian writer Yasmina Khadra, is a multi-dimensional novel whose social and literary aspect have grown in parallel. This work can be considered as a text that has maintained its links with social reality. Yasmina Khadra is one of the few French-speaking writers who has tried to write a story inspired by the realities of society and with an impartial view, a story affected by the war between Israel and the Palestinians, and in this way portrays the turmoil of the Palestinian people in the occupied territories.
In this article, an attempt has been made to investigate the social infrastructures of The Attack by using the sociocriticism of Claude Duchet, which focuses the most on the text, and after examining the social discourses of the work, we will look at the role of the reference society in the production of meaning in the text society, and by finding hidden signs in text , emphasize the unspoken and implied aspects of the text and finally analyze the sociologist of terrorism. To do this, we have studied and analyzed the text according to Douche's analytical concepts such as society of the text, society of reference and sociogram.
Keywords: sociocriticism, Claude Duchet, sociogram, text society, reference society, The Attack.
